Despite still being signed off work, I haven't managed to do very much reading at the moment. Somehow it just takes more energy and focus than I can muster up right now... I'm keeping going where possible though, but it's very slow indeed! I think this is the lowest monthly total since (my) records began! I guess it's only upward from here, right?
Herre på Täppan by Christina Olséni & Micke Hansen
The fourth in the Ester Karlsson series: this time she is visiting her sister and brother-in-law in their new summer chalet when a neighbour is found dead. Despite being told by the police NOT to get involved she, of course, decides to carry out her own investigation. A very readable tale of friends and neighbours, suspicion and confusion, with a nicely satisfying conclusion.
Pigeon Post and We Didn't Mean to go to Sea by Arthur Ransome [audiobooks]
The next two in the Swallows and Amazon series. So wonderfully old-fashioned and wholesome adventure - I'm still enjoying these greatly.
I forgot I was supposed to be tracking books bought too. I think there might actually only be one:
I haven't been entirely honest with you by Miranda Hart
